The house you can afford,
In the democracy that is darkness
Is such a small house after all.
Just a room with a single bed and
A bare bulb to read
From the book you’ve been reading
For a very long time.
The book tells a story where
The house heats up, the water rises up around
This house you can afford, yet not leave,
Since the vessels have burned up.
