Before we end the test of God
And raise the knife, and halt the arm
And free the ram, let us try once more
Civility with our fellow man.
We win over our inner voice,
It takes a loop into the unknown
And our son asks a question
While we gather wood for the bonfire.
We know this, we were afraid
All the same, and then we climbed
On each other shoulders.
