When the protests will turn peaceful after a short and misled stint
Of force against chaos,
One will ask the protesters why are they still walking so violently.
And the answer will not be revolt against racism,
It won’t be the fight against inequality –
Nor the ever insufferable life of the fathers –
It will be youth hoping to survive itself, as it always has.
