There must be an acceptation in the waterfall
That is not contradicted by the path.
Not every path is acceptable but everyone is flawed,
Our ideas must hold for chipped gods,
And you come to me with a totem
To which I cannot pray.
Everyone lies, to everyone and in many ways.
And yet, even if they lie, they are truthful all the same,
Because that’s what human nature is,
A very petty thing, almost despicable.
The bigger question is to find a way
Of accepting the perfect fact of a flawed life.
Your donut is plain truth, mine has a hole in the middle.
