Don’t talk to me about your god,
We’ll address the matter in due time.
Tell me what its believers have done to the miscreants
Tell me how they treated them.
Then tell me something else,
Tell me what these believers have done
For the vast others.
Let’s set aside the future you and I ignore,
Tell me rather
About the past and the present day,
And what’s left standing in the spiritual rubbles
Of crumbling and rising religions.
Let us do that tally instead of marching,
Let us do that tally instead of booing,
Tell me the story of facts
And then let’s hear
What your god has to say.
